[Announcement] Application for the 115th Academic Year Transfer-In

Application Period: From May 12, 2026, to June 10, 2026.

Download the application form from the Academic Information System (System opens at 10:00 AM on May 12). The form must be signed and approved by your current advisor and department head*. Submit the Application Form to the Division of Registrar and email supporting documents (see below) to the Program Office: bai@my.nthu.edu.tw.

Required supporting documents:
1. Research Proposal
2. Statement of Purpose for Transfer
3. Official Transcripts (All years)
4. Letter of Recommendation from your Advisor

To apply for a transfer into the BAI Ph.D. program, please first request a meeting with at least one of our core faculty members to discuss your research interests, and have the professor sign off on your First Laboratory Rotation Form, which is downloadable from the homepage of the BAI website. Upon receipt of the application, the Program Administrator will arrange for your laboratory rotation supervisor to submit a recommendation to the Executive Committee. The Committee will then vote on the final decision, and the results will be officially announced by the Division of the Registrar.

Note:
Without the prior written consent of the original advisor, neither the student nor the new advisor shall engage in research identical to that conducted by the student in the original laboratory. In the event of a dispute, if the original advisor’s letter of consent was written in Chinese, the English translation shall prevail.
