  Take Introduction of Statistics and Machine Learning ( I ) or Introduction of Statistics a nd Machine Learning ( II ) as qualification exam course with a pass and within top  20% in class e .g., i f there are 4 students in the class, 1 st place counts as a pass.

3.在前三年修業期間，發表第一(或共同第一)作者論文者，經學程委員會開會同意可抵資格考(但抵用之論文不可同時作為畢業規定之論文之一部分)。

  Students who publish the first author research paper during the first 3 years may waive the qualification examination after obtaining approval from the BAI executive   program committee. However, the research paper should not be the same or part of the graduation dissertation.
